Our Worship Style
At Cornerstone Family Church, we take pleasure in worshiping God with a wide, open heart! Our style of worship may be new to you, but we encourage you to get comfortable and worship God from your own heart. Here is a Biblical explanation of our worship style:
First, God is Looking for People Who Want to Worship Him. John 4:23-24 tells us, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Secondly, during the Praise and Worship segment of our services we lift our hands, sing and shout joyfully as we bless the Lord. Psalm 134:2 says, “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord.” Psalm149:1 says, “Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints.” Psalm 132:9 says, “Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And let your saints shout for joy.”

Our History
In 1992, Cornerstone Family Church began in a small building in La Grange, Kentucky with a handful of families. Under the leadership of Pastors Craig and Nancy Basler, the church has grown into a body of believers who possess a shared vision—to build a strong local church that will teach people to reach out with a gospel of love and deliverance to the people in the La Grange area.
The current 16,000 sq. ft. facility of Cornerstone Family Church was purchased in 1998. Pastors Craig and Nancy, along with the staff and congregation of CFC, are committed to making an impact in their community, region, and the world with the life changing power of God’s love. Pastor Craig’s teaching is delivered in a way that is relevant to the daily life of every believer.
Each year CFC experiences steady growth and development. Together we are becoming a solid team of people who serve God, one another, and our community with joy. For more information send us an email with your question.
